Style/ Plot – Reading about meditation sometimes feels weird to me especially as I still feel it’s about staying still and all that.
This book helped me see past through the weirdness factor and helped provide practical and instructional methods for meditation. It highlights all the fantastic benefits we hear about but goes a step further to provide measurable changes the reader can identify when implementing the 4 minute meditation.
Favourite Quote – “Many of us move on and create lives for ourselves that look nothing like who we were before, but we keep a foot or maybe even just a toe in that old life, making us feel as though we’re still not good enough. We carry old shame from a time when we made decisions not based on self-love or love for others.“
