Book 33 of Year 2017 – “Courage to soar” by Simone Biles

Official Title – Courage to Soar: A Body in Motion, A Life in Balance

Genre – Non Fiction

Book Length – 256 Pages

Reading Time – 6.5 Hours

Style/ Plot – I love the way Simone takes the reader through her childhood memories. At every point I smiled or expressed sadness at the appropriate times.

Some people seem born for what they do and Simone is one of them. She displayed early characteristics of a gymnast that led her on the path of being one of the most famous gymnast of our time.

Through it all, she shows how’s she’s learned perseverance, resilience and good old stubbornness.

Favourite Quote – “Maybe it’s good we don’t know what will happen next in our stories, because if we did, we might not turn the page. Or we might skip ahead and never experience the good that comes out of the hard moment we’re living through.”
